This training program is oriented towards NOC engineers or equipment integrators where the Newtec MCX7000 Multi-Carrier Satellite Gateway is used. The course, a blended format of lectures and practical exercises, is presented in a clear and technical format. In addition to course material, each learner will obtain knowledge required to configure, monitor and troubleshoot the Newtec MCX7000 Multi-Carrier Satellite Gateway.
After completing all associated materials, lectures and practical exercises, the trainees will be able to integrate, configure, monitor and troubleshoot the Newtec MCX7000 Multi-Carrier Satellite Gateway in their day to day activities.

Prerequisites
Each learner attending the MCX7000 Multi-Carrier Satellite Gateway training program should have a basic understanding of satellite communication and some familiarity with the concepts described by the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model applied to an IP network.
Next to that, the learner should have a basic user level knowledge of linux operating system command line interface and experience with Ethernet switch configurations.
