Tim Winter

President, iDirect Government

Tim Winter is the President of iDirect Government, a subsidiary of ST Engineering iDirect.

Prior to joining iDirect Government, he was the Vice President of Global Accounts and International Defense at ST Engineering iDirect, a global leader in IP-based satellite communications.

Winter has more than 20 years of experience in both operational and sales leadership positions. He joined the company in 2018 after leading the managed satellite networks division at L3. At L3, he led all sales and business development efforts for managed satellite communication, data networks and operational field services.

Winter is also a Commander and Naval Aviator in the United States Navy Reserves.

He holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science degree as a Trident Scholar from the United States Naval Academy. Additionally, he sits as Chairman of the Board for the Minerallac Company.
